I have been planning out my Latin book, Julia Revives Latin with the Olympians, since sophomore year. I've always dreamed of becoming an author and combining my love for Latin with my passion for advocacy. Julia Revives Latin with the Olympians is about Julia, an ordinary girl who likes to learn Latin, and the great Olympians. The declining interest in learning Latin has taken a toll on the powers of the gods and goddesses because as less people believe in the Olympians, the weaker their powers and influence becomes. Finding themselves in a sticky situation, the Olympians recruit Julia to help them revive Latin. In return, they grant Julia one wish, and she decides to ask them to use their godly powers to tame the wildfires that prevent her from enjoying her time outdoors in the Pacific Northwest.
